I will be honest with you. I am not the photographer for ten mile hikes, 3am alpine starts, or extreme backcountry adventures. I do not believe your wedding or elopement needs to be the most epic adventure you have ever had.
What I do believe is that Colorado is one of the most stunning places on earth to get married. Not because of the photos, although those are going to be incredible, but because there is something about being outside in these mountains that makes everything else fall away. The noise, the pressure, the to do lists. All of it just disappears.
I work exclusively with couples who are eloping or keeping their guest list to fifty people or less. I truly believe less is more. Not because things do not matter, but because there is no better way to start a marriage than slowing down, being present, and enjoying quality time in the mountains with the people you love most.

Whether you’re eloping just the two of you or hosting an intimate wedding with up to 50 of your closest people. I have three different package options with coverage starting at 4 hours and ranging up to two days.

Couples sessions are perfect for anniversaries, engagements, or just because you need some updated photos of you and your love in one of the most stunning places on earth. No big occasion necessary. Only available in Fort Collins or locations on my travel schedule!

WHEN TO GET MARRIED IN COLORADO
Peak Wildflower Season — Mid July through Early August
When the mountains are blanketed in color and the days are long and golden. This is one of my favorite times of year to shoot in Colorado.
Peak Fall Color Season — Mid September through Early October
When the aspen trees turn gold and Colorado looks like nowhere else on earth. Honestly breathtaking.
Winter — November through March
Colorado in the snow is stunning and I am absolutely available during winter months. Just keep in mind that some higher elevation locations may not be accessible and you will want to factor in the possibility of snowy driving conditions.
Spring — April through June
Spring is the one season I gently steer couples away from. Snowmelt means muddy trails, unpredictable conditions, and locations that just are not at their best yet. It is not impossible but the other seasons will give you significantly better results.

03. Make it Official
Once you’ve chosen the right package, a signed contract and a $1,500 non-refundable retainer locks in your elopement date. No need to have an exact location yet, just a set date and general location is all I need.
04. We Start Planning!
Once you’re officially booked we can start planning right away! I’ll send you over a planning guide and we’ll work together bring your vision to life. I don’t plan your day for you, but I’m here to guide you along to ensure everything is thought of.

Not at all. Some couples come to me with a specific spot already locked in their hearts and others have no idea where to start.

That is completely okay and honestly more common than you might think. You do not need to have your location picked, your guest count decided, or your vision fully formed before you reach out. All you need is a general sense that you want something intentional, outdoors, and in Colorado.

I recommend booking 6-12 months out, especially for summer and fall dates which fill quickest. I only take on a limited number of elopements each year to make sure every couple gets my full attention, so if you have a date in mind do not sit on it. That said if you are planning something spontaneous reach out anyway. If the date is open it is yours.

The $1,500 retainer is non-refundable as it reserves your date and takes it off the market for other couples. It goes toward your total collection investment so you are not paying anything extra. This is standard practice in the photography industry and is outlined clearly in your contract before you sign anything.

If you need to reschedule, your original retainer is non-refundable as it held your original date, but it does transfer toward your new date. Securing a new date also requires a $500 rescheduling fee, subject to availability. I know that is not the most fun policy but it protects both of us since your original date goes back on the market and I may have turned away other inquiries for it. All of this is outlined clearly in your contract before you sign anything so there are never any surprises.

Absolutely. My primary focus is Colorado but I will travel anywhere. All travel outside of Colorado is subject to travel fees which will be outlined in your custom quote. Reach out and tell me where you are envisioning!

My services are best for elopements and intimate weddings with 50 guests or fewer. The more you strip away the guest list the more the day becomes about the two of you and honestly that is where the magic is. If you are envisioning a really large traditional wedding I am probably not your photographer, but if you want something small, personal, and set against an incredible Colorado backdrop you are in the right place.
