COLORADO ELOPEMENT + INTIMATE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
FOR COUPLES WHO ARE DONE COMPROMISING ON WHAT THEIR WEDDING DAY LOOKS LIKE.
You have already decided that a mountaintop beats a ballroom. That the right twenty people matter more than two hundred acquaintances filling seats. That your wedding day should feel like the two of you, not like a production you have been rehearsing for someone else.
You just need someone who knows how to make it happen in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
YOU’RE PLANNING SOMETHING INTENTIONAL. NOT JUST SMALL.
There is a difference between eloping because it is cheaper and eloping because it is exactly right. The couples I work with fall firmly into the second category.
You are choosing Colorado because something about these mountains has been calling to you. Maybe it is the way Maroon Lake reflects the peaks at sunrise. Maybe it is the idea of standing above treeline with nothing but sky in every direction. Maybe you just know that the place where you say your vows should feel significant, not convenient.
You are also probably a little overwhelmed right now. Permits, parking, timelines, marriage licenses, what to wear, where to stay, whether your guests can actually get there. An elopement in Colorado has more moving pieces than most people expect, and you are navigating all of it without a wedding planner holding your hand.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHERE I COME IN.
WHAT YOU’RE ACTUALLY INVESTING IN
A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO KNOWS COLORADO
Because in a lot of ways, it is. I spent seven years living in Colorado, I am moving back this fall, and I genuinely invest time learning every location I photograph before I show up with a camera. That means researching permit requirements, scouting timing and light conditions, and building full elopement day plans so your experience feels intentional rather than improvised. You deserve someone who has done their homework on the place where you are getting married.
A DAY THAT ACTUALLY FLOWS
From the moment you book I am in your corner. I can point you toward the right permits, share location recommendations based on your vision, help you think through a timeline that works with the light, and answer every question you have along the way. I am not an elopement planner, but I am a photographer who has done enough homework on Colorado locations that you will never feel like you are figuring this out alone.
PHOTOS THAT FEEL LIKE THE DAY FELT
Not stiff. Not posed. Not like every other mountain wedding gallery you have scrolled past. The way you looked at each other mid vow when it finally hit you that this was actually happening. The belly laugh during portraits. The quiet moment you shared watching the sun drop behind the peaks. These are the images you will print large and hang on your wall for the next thirty years.
BREATHTAKING WITHOUT THE EXTREME. THAT IS THE WHOLE PHILOSOPHY.
Most Colorado elopement photographers are selling adventure. Twelve mile hikes before sunrise. Technical scrambles to remote summits. Epic getting there stories that sound great in a caption but are genuinely not what every couple wants or is physically able to do.
I built my business around a different belief. Some of the most stunning locations in Colorado are completely accessible without putting yourself through an endurance challenge to get there. The Maroon Bells Amphitheater is a short paved path from the parking area. The summit of Aspen Mountain is a gondola ride. Independence Pass is a drive.
Your wedding day is not about who can out-adventure everyone else. It is about being somewhere so beautiful it actually moves you, and not being too exhausted to feel it.
I am semi-adventurous by nature, emphasis on the semi, which means I genuinely connect with couples who want beautiful without brutal. That is not a compromise. That is actually my favorite kind of elopement day.
“I have worked with Maggie on two different occasions and I am SO grateful I found a forever photographer in her!! She is so lovely to work with and has gone above and beyond for us. Not only is her work absolutely beautiful, she is a beautiful person who will put your needs first as she captures whatever life moment you are living. She ended up staying later at our wedding to get some photos my husband and the other guys really wanted despite the long drive she had to get home that night. Anyone would be lucky to have her capture their big day! Thank you, Maggie!!”
“We couldn’t be happier having Maggie as our wedding photographer. Our pictures turned out absolutely stunning. She captured every emotion and detail perfectly, literally just as we remembered. She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I can’t recommend Maggie highly enough to anyone looking for a photographer. Thank you for making our day unforgettable.”

INVESTMENT:
INTIMATE WEDDING + ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY
Starting at $2400 | From Intimate Ceremonies to Two-Day Celebrations
No two elopements look the same. Some couples want a focused intimate ceremony with portraits in one stunning location. Others want a full unhurried day that moves through multiple spots as the light changes. Some want to make a full weekend out of it and wake up in the Colorado mountains two days in a row with nowhere else to be.
Collections start at $2,400 and scale from intimate ceremony coverage all the way through two-day celebrations. Every collection includes full planning support, all Colorado travel, a sneak peek gallery within one week, and a complete hand edited gallery within ten weeks.
Reach out to receive full pricing details and find the collection that fits your day.
COUPLES SESSIONS
Starting at $750 | From Golden Hour Portraits to Full Adventure Sessions
Couples sessions are available in two ways:
If you are based in Northern Colorado or planning to be in the area, sessions are available locally around Fort Collins, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the surrounding foothills. These are for couples who want beautiful mountain photos together outside of a wedding day context, not as a substitute for elopement day coverage.
If you are hoping for a session somewhere else in Colorado, availability depends on my existing travel schedule. Reach out and tell me where and when you are thinking. If I have travel to that area already planned, we will make it work. If not, additional travel fees may apply.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Not at all. Some couples come to me with a specific spot already locked in their hearts and others have no idea where to start. Either way I am happy to help. If you are still figuring out where you want to get married in Colorado, I’m here to help!
-
That is completely okay and honestly more common than you might think. You do not need to have your location picked, your guest count decided, or your vision fully formed before you reach out. All you need is a general sense that you want something intentional, outdoors, and in Colorado. We can figure out the rest together.
-
I accept bookings up to 12 months in advance. Planning something more spontaneous? Please still reach out! I love a last minute, spontaneous elopement and will always do my best to make it work.
-
The $1000 retainer is non refundable as it reserves your date and takes it off the market for other couples. It goes toward your total collection investment so you are not paying anything extra. This is standard practice in the photography industry and is outlined clearly in your contract before you sign anything.
-
If you need to reschedule, your original retainer is non refundable as it held your original date. Securing a new date requires a new retainer. I know that is not the most fun policy but it protects both of us since your original date goes back on the market and I may have turned away other inquiries for it. All of this is outlined clearly in your contract before you sign anything so there are never any surprises.
-
My primary focus is Colorado where my deepest location knowledge lives. For destination elopements outside the state reach out and we can talk through whether it is the right fit.
-
I work with elopements and intimate weddings of up to around 50 guests. If you are envisioning something much larger than that I am probably not the right fit, but if you are on the fence about guest count I am always happy to talk through what works best for your specific vision and location.
