Madison WI Elopement & Wedding Photographer
for Nature-Loving Couples
I work with couples who care deeply about how their day feels — and trust that beautiful images will follow.
The ones who’d rather be present than perfect. Who value real connection over a rigid timeline. Who know that the most meaningful photos aren’t posed or planned — but captured in the in-between moments, where you’re simply being yourselves.
Whether you're eloping, planning an intimate wedding, or just looking for updated couples photos, I’m here to make the experience feel relaxed, easy, and true to you.
I work with people who care more about how their day (or session) feels than how it looks. Who don’t need a packed timeline or a long shot list to have a beautiful, meaningful experience.
As a story-driven photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin — and always ready to travel — my favorite days feel intentional and unhurried. Days where you get to actually enjoy the moment, and the photos reflect all the real stuff: the quiet, the joy, the connection.
Whether we're adventuring around Wisconsin or heading somewhere new, I’m here to document your story honestly and guide you through the process — with support, not pressure.

I’m the photographer for you if…
You want to celebrate your love somewhere meaningful — whether that’s an intimate outdoor elopement, a cozy backyard wedding, or a couples session in a place that feels special.
You feel most at peace in nature or meaningful spaces, and want your photos to reflect that genuine connection — no matter if it’s woods, water, mountains, or your favorite local spot.
You’d rather soak in the moment than pose your way through it, and want images that capture real emotion, stillness, and joy.
You’re happy to swap heels for hiking boots, sandals, or whatever helps you feel grounded and authentically yourself.
You want to break free from the pressure of a traditional timeline and create a day or session that flows naturally — with space to breathe, connect, and simply be together.
Planning Support, Wherever You’re At
No matter how much (or how little) you’ve planned so far—whether your date is a year out or just a few weeks away—I’ll meet you right where you’re at, with guidance that’s customized to you.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all kind of process. I’ll create a planning workflow tailored to your vision, your pace, and your priorities—whether that means helping you narrow down a location, building a flexible timeline, or figuring out how to include personal touches that actually feel like you.
From the first email to the final gallery, I’m here to make sure you feel supported and never overwhelmed. You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. We’ll shape this together—so your experience feels natural, stress-free, and deeply intentional
Why I Choose to Photograph Smaller Weddings & Elopements
I didn’t fall in love with photography because of big ballrooms or perfect table settings. I fell in love with it in the quiet, meaningful moments between people — the way someone reaches for their partner’s hand, or the way laughter lingers after the vows are said.
That’s why I choose to photograph smaller weddings and elopements.
Because when the guest list is short, the pressure fades.
Because when the timeline is loose, there’s room to breathe.
Because when you strip away the noise, what’s left is what actually matters.
These are the kinds of days that let you be fully present — where your attention isn’t pulled in a hundred directions, and where the emotion you feel is real, not rushed. And those are the moments I want to capture for you. The ones you’ll actually remember, because you were in them — not performing for them.
If you’re planning a day that feels more like you and less like a production, I’m here for it.

I am all about embracing a little bit of rain, wind or cooler days! However, if the weather is so bad that my gear could be damaged or we’d have a terrible time, we can adjust your timeline, move to a different location, or reschedule for a later date - dependent upon my availability.

You'll receive a handful of sneak peeks within 1 week. For weddings + elopements your final gallery will be delivered within 10 weeks or less, and for couples sessions 6 weeks or less.

The number of black and white images in your gallery will depend on the overall feel and storytelling of your day—it’s something I decide intentionally during the editing process. Some moments just come to life in black and white, and at times, I’ll include both color and black and white versions of the same image.
That said, I want your gallery to reflect your vision. In your questionnaire, we’ll discuss how much you love black and white photos so I can tailor the balance based on your preferences.

This depends on several different factors such as, how many hours you’ve booked me for, how many guests you have, weather, etc. To give an idea, on average, I deliver 50-120 photos for sessions, 200-500 for shorter wedding/elopement days and anywhere from 600-1,000 for full day coverage.
-
I typically accept bookings up to 12 months in advance. If your wedding or elopement date is further out than that, I’d be happy to add you to my waitlist, and we can reconnect when we’re about 12 months away from your big day to finalize everything!
For sessions, I book up to 2 months in advance to allow priority to my elopement and wedding clients.
-
First, please know that this would only happen in the most extreme, unforeseeable circumstances—something truly out of my control, like a serious illness, injury, or emergency. Your wedding day is deeply important to me, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
If something were to prevent me from being there, I would do everything I can to help you find a trusted replacement photographer whose work and approach align with mine. While I’m not legally required to do so, I care deeply about making sure you’re taken care of. And of course, if I’m unable to find a replacement or photograph your wedding myself, you would receive a full refund.
-
In order to reschedule your date, a new non-refundable deposit will need to paid for the new date. Exceptions to this will be made if we agree to reschedule due to weather or some other unforeseen circumstance.
